The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is the building where fire trucks and other materials are used. The firefighters train here and even stay their 48 hour shifts. Many of the CDF fire fighters are volunteers.

The Henderson's National Park has been around for a good 40 years. The park has endangered species on it and is the home of many different plants and flowers. Some people come to the park to work by feeding and taking care of the animals and others come to walk around and maybe have a picnic or a hike or a family trip.
