It was just after Easter and already a stupid essay was assigned. Most of the time Cass would just blow it off until the weekend before it was due but this time she had to finish it now. The teacher has the first draft due tomorrow. But what makes things even more hard is that there is a cheerleading practice today and then she had to go and help out with her mom at her mom’s store. So today Cass seriously wished that she could go to bed and stay there or crawl under a rock for a few weeks and just sleep. But she knew that something like that was not going to happen but a girl can dream right?

Getting up from the table that she was at, she walked over to one of the many bookshelves for a thesaurus so she didn’t feel like she was using the same words over and over and over again. Her eyes gazed around and found that not a whole lot of people were in the library today. There were not a lot of people at school either. Cass guessed that they either ditched school or they were still with their families from Easter. The only family that Cass had was her mom. Yes, it was not a lot but Cass would never change her mom for anyone.

Slowly, she walked back over to the table that she had her bag on and her binder and a few school books and her mini pink laptop. She began to type away at a paragraph but pushed the delete button as it didn’t seem to have the right feel to it. Who would ever assign an essay about the Romantic Period in Literature. Cass didn’t think that the stories were all that romantic. They were actually pretty dull which was not a surprise. She was more into the present books yes some romantics but also some other things like mystery and fiction. Face it she liked to read but not a lot.
